ING

The bank with an orange lion as it’s logo. Founded in 1991 with the merging of two Dutch banks, the bank now has operations in about three thirds of the world and every continent except for Afrika and Antarctica, which might change in the future if the icecaps do indeed melt.

The direction is the same as any other bank on the planet. Make money by borrowing out debt.

As most banks follow the identical formula, there is little to say about the competition between them, but the fact that there is and always will be competition is a fact.

Dividends get paid out twice a year with reasonable consistency. Though as a bank it’s susceptible to dips in the economy as borrowers have trouble making their payments.
