First of all, none of the content on this site is meant to, or should be interpreted as financial advice. Every person is responsible for their own financial wellbeing and should therefore make their own decisions concerning their finances. All content is meant for entertainment purposes only. This site is made and updated by a man who invests by the following rules:
- Never invest in something you don’t understand;
- Cashflow takes precedence over capital gains;
- Manage your own investments;
- Don’t ask others what to do with you money.
The first rule is put in place to prevent dumb losses. If you don’t understand an investments, then you also don’t understand the risks. The second indicates that a good investment shouldn’t have to be sold to make a profit. If you cash out, then you will no longer be entitled to further gains. As for the third rule, no one cares more about your success than you yourself. If you let others manage your money, then not only will you not learn anything, but the people themselves will try to make money off of you. Lastly the fourth rule is best described as follows: ask someone what to do with your money and they will say “give it to me”.
Following the four rules described previously, the owner of this site has started investing into dividend paying companies. On this site you can find information on companies previously bought, a personal opinion about said companies and lastly the payout information regarding the paid dividends of said company.
The table with payout information should include the following information:
- Payout date – the data the dividends are paid to the stock owners;
- Dividend – the amount of dividend paid per share;
- Currency – the currency in which the dividends were paid;
- Tax – the amount of tax deduced from the total amount paid to the owner of the stock.
As stated before, this site and it’s contents are not meant as financial advice. All content is made with both a informative and entertaining frame of mind.
